The natural wound-healing response of the skin stimulates collagen and elastin production within the Dermal layers of your skin. The procedure is performed using an electrically powered derma-pen / derma-stamp device.
The difference between medical strength and non-medical strength needling is the size of the needle. The longer the needle the deeper penetration can be achieved, which in turn the more dramatic results you will see. Your medically trained dermal therapist will determine needle depths from 0.5mm – 2.5mm
A strong topical anesthetic is always applied 15 minutes before treatment which minimizes any discomfort you will feel during the treatment.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
We recommend to start with three treatments with a minimum separation time of four to six weeks between each treatment session. Scar reduction is best treatment with three to five treatments. Skin needling always works best when combined with other skin rejuvenation treatments.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY TREATMENT?
The skin’s natural reaction is inflammation and redness, however this is only for a short time and will fade to a pinky hue within a few hours after your treatment. The pinky hue remains for an average of 12 to 24 hours post treatment.
We recommend only a natural Hyaluronic product to be applied during this stage of recovery and it is important to avoid all direct sun exposure.
Over the next few days, you may feel some dryness through the skin healing process. Sunscreens can be applied 48 to 72 hours post treatment and you may resume using a gentle cleanser and healing serum and daily moisturizer.
